Good stats. Reason for IL-2 lower K/D is that the ballgame is a bit different there. But impressive work on AH! 24:1 was Bf109G K/D in FiAF so you are pretty close Have fun in Tikkakoski/Jyväskylä! I wish I could join you...well, maybe I get something to Blitz

I really wish I could have joined you guys in Tikkakoski. Thanks to Camo I got the opportunity to see the Brewster and the Blenheim when I visited Finland in September. T!hankS again old chap! Have fun boys.

Some medals, awards and promotions:

The IL2 war ribbon was awarded to the following pilots for their active participance in the Scorched Earth Smolensk campaign:
Vispe (31 missions)
Haapis (30)
Untamo (28)
Raimo (27)
Aati (26)
Icedi (26)
Illu (24)
Hapi (21)
Flanker (19)

In addition, Vispe, Aati and RaimoK were awarded VM1 for their performance, Haapis was awarded VM2 for his commitment in special operations during the campaign.

For their commitment and performance in War Missions during the past year, the following pilots were awarded:
Yliv Illu was promoted to Lentomestari (7½ victories in 18 missions, leading the IL2 killboard with 30 victories in 79 missions).
Kapt Jarski was awarded VR2 (35 victories in 19 AH missions!)
Kapt Jompa was awarded VR3 (15½ victories in 25 IL2&AH missions).
Ylil Flanker was awarded VR3tlk (15 victories in 22 IL2&AH missions).
Vänr RaimoK was awarded VR4 (11 victories in 27 IL2 missions).

And last but definately not the least, Kurikkalentäjä of the year 2009 -award goes to a man who has selflessly dedicated his time to the squadron for the past year, using countless hours to ensure victory to our Scorched Earth war machine - Aati!
